Its nice to see that someone's still thinking of the parents. I got tired of sneaking off to review albums in dark corners of my house just so I don't have to worry about my daughter hitting me with a fun new four letter word she picked up. Mind you the content isn't all that great but hey she's three I'm not expected her to get into deep reflective thought over these jams, just bob her head without making me bang mine.
Fortunately there's DJ Fusion's - The Return of Real Black Radio Mixtape, a nice albeit eclectic blend of tunes that will make your day. This is definitely what you want in your deck during a long drive, even if you don't have a car seat in the back.
The best thing is that this isn't just some rehash of the top tracks on the radio right now. This is a "real mixtape" the way it used to be those late nights on the radio when you used to hear the DJ rock out in some club and wonder "who's song was that"? This brings back that feeling again. THANK YOU FUSEBOX RADIO FOR BRINGING BACK REAL EXCLUSIVES! This is a mixtape that other stations just pull tracks from and claim was theirs all along.
Mind you some songs fit the mix better than others, but mostly that's personal taste rather than musical quality. With twenty two joints on this though I can see you finding at least one to keep on repeat until part two hits the net here real soon.
