Niva born in Houston Texas where she grew up in and sang in the church. At 23 she has opened for world WNBA basketball star Sheryl Swoopes from the Houston comets and Tyler Perry and Sheryl Pepsi Riley's stage play "Why Did I Get Married?" She performed in Houston at the George R. Brown convention center for congress woman Shelia Jackson as well as Scarface and UGK. She has recently performed at the Hot 97 concert promoted by China Doll Entertainment and sponsored in part by Def Jam in Paterson NJ USA. Her new song and video “I Will Make It” featuring positive MC & Poet Kamal Imani is now inspiring people all over the world! Look out for Niva’s new video “I Will Make It”.
