Teagy Rum was born in Milwaukee WI and raised in Atlanta GA which would explain his unique style, true values and a diverse delivery.

Teagy was just the hype man for his friends group Official Niggaz till he wrote a verse for himself while in the studio wit the group. “When I was in high school we would always talk in similes and metaphors that where pretty funny so I said a line and was like im bout to write a rhyme. If they don’t like it I’ll just laugh it off. When they was done I was like I got something, Poe said it was hot and that’s how it started, we actually recorded it in Zaytoven studio, we use to play ball together.”

Soon after that Teagy Rum and Official Niggaz did there first mix tape “countdown to signing day”. “ Back then it was just getting instrumentals and flippin the courses to fit us, that’s when I found out I had the potential to have a crazy hook game” Soon “The Rum” started to do shows at local talent showcases in Atlanta winning a good percentage of the ones he entered.

Now wit his squad/production team intact (The Oxymorons) and company (Change Music) on the rise its time for bigger and better ventures. Wit his motivational be yourself attitude and witty lyrics the music is enjoyable and at the same time thought provoking which is seldom found in the new age mainstream. Teagy Rum plans to break that barrier. With singles such as Back wit her Baby Daddy, I Am, Psycho Azz, and How That Sound, he has the capability to hit the game wit enough force to make so called rap artist really be artist. Some even refer to him as the Redman off the south. So keep your ears and eyes open for the debut album entitled “Rocket Science”. It seems like this Rum is top shelf.
