Well folks, its coming to the end of the line for me out here. I can see the end of this long, painful yet rewarding journey up ahead and it doesn't seem so far away now. I find myself incredibly blessed by it all and as I pack my bags this evening I stopped to think of all that has gone on during this time and my heart is filled with a sense of gratitude that's really hard to describe and at the same time I feel as though I'd be doing some of my people a disservice if I didn't try.

This week I lost a dear, old friend and its painful to think I won't get to see him or hear him laugh again. When I was a few years younger and living in a strange new country, he gave me a job introduced me to friends I'd keep for a lifetime and even looked out for girlfriend who eventually became my wife. For those of you who didn't a;ready know this, I'm preparing to leave tomorrow for a substantial amount of time. I'm part of the Armed Services and will be flying to Iraq to serve my country for the next few months and will be leaving the rest of my staff in charge of running operations while I'm away.
